FIRST DEGREE REIKI CLASS INFORMATION

Information:
This introductory level is for anyone interested in hands-on energy healing. The 4-session class covers:

• the history and precepts of the Usui System of Reiki Healing to bring balance into your life
• four attunements to enliven the spiritual dimension of this method and to heighten your perceptions of subtle energies and your ability to easily tap into the universal energy field when your hands are placed on yourself or another
• the patterned progression of hand positions for use both in the treatment of others and in self-treatment
• The certificate given at the end attests that you have participated in all aspects of the level I training in the Usui System of Reiki Healing and that the Master has presented all components of that system. Knowledge of this healing art will continuously be revealed as you

Hawayo Takata, the Master, who first brought Reiki to North America, held four day classes.  This commitment of time allows you the sacred space to internally process what the daily initiation ceremonies open and activate in your body, mind and spirit.  The intention of this Reiki class is to know yourself as an energy aware being; intimately and practically.  Reiki can and does unconditionally support your path of self-actualization
About the Initiating Master:
Stephanie Scheid, 6th Generation Lineage ( Usui, Hayashi, Takata, Furumoto, Doel) provides you with a clear and profound spiritual teaching about the foundations and healing self practice of the Usui System of Reiki Healing.
The initiation ceremonies and the energy awareness training that you receive over the course of this First Degree class opens your heart and raises your awareness.
It provides you with a daily meditative healing  practice that transforms your life.

Martyn Kendrick taught creative writing at MacMaster University for 10 years, has published 7 books, and is a walking, living, breathing inspiration.

Martyn is also a sculptor, a painter, he builds labyrinths, and currently exhibits sculptures at the Art Gallery of Hamilton and at Gallery 205. Martyn's great gift is to inspire his students AND be inspired by his students.

What is Reiki Healing?
The Usui System of Reiki Healing is a gentle hands-on healing art. It is a natural and powerful way to harmonize and balance all aspects of the body and mind. During a private session recipients deeply relax, breath consciously and perceive their own capacity to heal.  Receiving Reiki calls forth knowing  yourself as a spiritual being.

What is an innerLife Tarot Consultation?
It is a platform to shed light on how your life reflects your own thoughts and feelings. The focus is not about what the future holds but on understanding the here and now.  Ultimately, the session affirms what you deeply know to be true and invites you to observe how your heart, mind and spirit collaborate to learn; to heal and to love.

What is an innerLife Coaching Session?
It is an inquiry-based, self-awareness journey to explore core beliefs affecting your health, wealth, work and relationships.  You receive a combination of mind body-work to gain insights into deep-rooted patterns of being. You learn strategies to adapt to change and to develop and action plan to balance your physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual life for radiant health.

What is an innerLife Sound Healing Work
It is a private Reiki session which is amplified by a soundscape of world instruments, vocals and quartz crystal bowls. This unique sonic journey is meditative, aligns and attunes your chakra energy system and creates the sacred space to connect with your innate wisdom and healing source.

The Soul Song Circle begins with a meditation, and a  sharing ( optional) and also having prayers for our love ones , for Mother Earth and All Her Relations. 

We sing Chant , and dance to the beat of the drums. There is a variety of percussions allowed here as people bring Shakers , Djembes and Hand Drums.

We learn songs and Mantras to sing along with the drums and others bring the songs they like to introduce to the Circle.  

Sometimes we just plain drum and enjoy that all on its own.

Making Friends with Nature - In this gathering we use visualizations and symbols to access your inner world in a gentle and respectful way.

We use receptive methods rather than directive. It is far more stable a healing when you are allowed to access your own inner messages and symbols.
